Young People Need a Path to the Future, Not the Streets

Where Information Sparks Brilliance

Pakistan’s youth today stand at a critical crossroads. They need jobs, education, business opportunities, skills, and a secure future. However, when the country remains affected by political tensions, protests, road blockages, and economic uncertainty, it is the youth who suffer the most.

A student’s education is disrupted, a small business owner loses business, an employee struggles to reach work, and a young person searching for opportunities abroad begins to question the future of his own country.

Politics is an essential part of democracy, and peaceful protest is a fundamental civic right. However, the ultimate purpose of politics should be to improve the lives of ordinary people and create a better future for the next generation.

The government must focus on creating more opportunities for young people through employment, skills development, education, entrepreneurship, and innovation. At the same time, political parties should resolve their differences through Parliament, dialogue, and democratic negotiations rather than constant confrontation on the streets.

Pakistan’s youth should not become fuel for political conflicts. They must become the engine of Pakistan’s economic growth, stability, and development.

Today, the real need is not to tell young people to come onto the streets. Instead, we must give them enough opportunities and confidence to say:

“I want to build my future in Pakistan.”
