Joe Jonas shared the scary moment a fun holiday in Italy suddenly became a frightening experience.
The singer was enjoying time on a yacht with his girlfriend Tatiana Gabriela, his daughters, Morgan Stewart and her husband.
The group later decided to go to a restaurant by the water.
Joe was told to use the restaurant’s boat instead of the yacht’s smaller boat. The water was rough, but he was told it was safe to make the jump.
Things quickly went wrong when a wave pushed the boat away from the yacht.
“But as I take a step, I think a wave came in, and it pushed the boat far out from the yacht,” Jonas recalled.
“It sounds like the bougiest problem, but it was terrifying because then I slipped and fell between these two boats. The first mate tried to grab me, but he also fell in after me.”
Joe was suddenly stuck between the two boats. He was still wearing all his clothes and even had his phone in his pocket.
He managed to get away from the boats and later made it to safety. But the experience left him shaken.
After everything was over, Joe said he only wanted to see his daughters.
“I was like, ‘I just need to call them,” Joe Jonas told Morgan Stewart. “‘I need to see their faces.’ Because you realize it could have been any of us. It could have been really bad. It was the best outcome of a bad situation.”
