Justin Trudeau has found himself at the center of criticism with reports suggesting that his romance with Katy Perry is hurting his public image.
Some observers believe that the former Canadian leader is now being takes “less seriously” following his high-profile romance, according to Star Magazine.
Justin stepped down in 2025 after nearly a decade in office, but has remained active internationally, including appearances at events such as the World Economic Forum in Davos.
However, the source told the outlet, “Sure, Katy has a ton of money and brings her global fame into any relationship she gets into, but Justin is a former head of state and his name and face can open a lot of doors.”
“He came into this situation with a whole lot of credibility,” they added.
The criticism intensified after Katy dropped casual photos of Justin at Coachella, where he was dressed informally while eating instant noodles.
