LAHORE – Cricket enthusiasts will be allowed to attend the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 final, following approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The announcement was made by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who shared the update on social media.
Naqvi explained that he had requested the Prime Minister to permit fans in stadiums.
While acknowledging the ongoing austerity measures across the country, which aim to reduce fuel consumption, the Prime Minister agreed to allow spectators at the PSL 11 Final after franchise owners appealed for their presence.

Expressing gratitude, Naqvi thanked the Prime Minister for facilitating fans to attend the high-profile event.
Earlier in the season, matches in Lahore and Karachi were held behind closed doors due to a government-mandated austerity plan, which was introduced in response to a regional energy shortage and global tensions.
The PSL 2026 final is scheduled to take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 3, 2026, marking a return of fans to the stadium after months of restrictions.
