US President Donald Trump has praised Pakistani Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir, calling him “fantastic”.
Speaking to the New York Post, Trump said that he [CDF Munir] is doing a “great job” in facilitating discussions linked to Iran talks.
“He’s [Asim Munir] fantastic, and therefore it’s more likely that we go back there [Pakistan],” Trump said.
The US president signalled that Iran talks could resume in Pakistan over the next two days.
