The dollar declined further against the rupee as its value dipped by Rs1.18 in the interbank foreign exchange market on Monday, the first trading session of the week.
The foreign currency was trading Rs281.5 in the early trade at the interbank market, as against the closing of Rs282.69 on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange started the week on a positive note on the back of improved sentiments.
The benchmark KSE-100 Index gained 111.01 points, or 0.23%, and was trading at 47,604.58 levels. The KSE-30 Index gained 58.62 points, or 0.36% as it was trading at 16,432.49 levels in the early trading on Monday.
