ISLAMABAD:
The Supreme Court on Friday ordered action against those responsible for illegal recruitment in the Sindh Education Department and asked the provincial chief secretary to form an inquiry committee on the matter in 10 days.
Apex court Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar issued a detailed judgment on the case. The judgement said that the additional education secretary and deputy law secretary should also be included in the inquiry committee.

However, court stressed that the inquiry committee should issue notices to all the 56 petitioners and give them an opportunity of personal hearing. It added that the committee should conduct examination and among those 56 applicants, whoever met the rules and regulations be appointed.
Those who wished to be recruited should be given the right to a transparent process under Article 10A of the Constitution, according to the ruling. It added that the committee should complete its inquiry within 90 days and also decide about the salaries of those who had worked after being recruited.
