NEW DELHI: Optiemus Unmanned Systems, a subsidiary of electronics contract manufacturer Optiemus Infra, will invest Rs 140 crore for expanding its drone manufacturing enterprise and offering it as a service for agricultural, mapping, and related industries. The company is localising parts and components to achieve 75% indigenisation by the end of the fiscal, chairman Ashok Gupta said.”We are set to leverage our expertise in drone technology to offer a cost-effective and efficient solution for agricultural and defence needs,” Gupta said.
