500 Students Complete Free Digital Skills Training at RankingGrow Ceremony in Haripur

The role of technical education in improving employment prospects for young people was highlighted at a ceremony in Haripur, where RankingGrow marked the completion of a two-month free training programme for 500 students.

Held at RankingGrow Tower, the event brought together representatives from the technology, media and youth development sectors. Those attending included RankingGrow Chief Executive Officer Ammad Ali, Metrix Pakistan Founder and CEO Hassan Nisar, and Zarar TV Founder and CEO Waqar Ali.

The programme provided training in artificial intelligence (AI), digital marketing, cybersecurity, video editing and graphic designing. These fields offer various career opportunities, including employment in organisations, freelance work and online business development.

Addressing the gathering, Ammad Ali said RankingGrow had trained more than 12,000 individuals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the organisation had been providing free skills training to make professional education accessible to young people from different backgrounds.

“Our aim is to help young people develop practical skills that they can use in their professional lives. Thousands of individuals in Pakistan have received training free of cost, and we want to continue creating opportunities for learning and career development,” he said.

Ammad Ali added that digital marketing and technology-related services could provide new employment opportunities for young people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He emphasised the importance of combining education with practical experience to prepare students for changing workplace requirements.

According to RankingGrow, more than 30 students from the graduating group of 500 were offered jobs and paid internships at the company. These opportunities are intended to help selected participants gain professional experience and apply the skills acquired during the training programme.

Hassan Nisar, Founder and CEO of Metrix Pakistan, said access to free digital education was important for students who could not afford professional training courses.

He said organisations working in skills development could help young people prepare for employment by providing access to technical knowledge and practical learning opportunities. He also highlighted the partnership between Metrix Pakistan and RankingGrow in supporting youth development.

Waqar Ali, Founder and CEO of Zarar TV, also attended the ceremony. His participation brought together representatives from the media, technology and youth development sectors at an event focused on professional skills and employment opportunities.

Established in 2016, RankingGrow operates in the digital services and training sector. According to information provided by the company, it has received recognition from the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and awards from the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the President of Pakistan.

The completion of the programme highlighted the growing importance of practical digital education in Pakistan. As businesses increasingly rely on digital platforms and technology-based services, relevant technical skills can help young people pursue employment and self-employment.

The ceremony marked the completion of two months of training for the 500 participants and highlighted the importance of connecting skills development with professional opportunities. The employment and paid internship offers made to some graduates provided a pathway for them to gain workplace experience.

The event concluded with recognition of the graduating students and an emphasis on the need to expand access to technical education, professional training and employment opportunities for young people across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
