Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has strongly condemned the continued illegal settlement activities and settler violence in the Occupied West Bank.
He was speaking at the Ministerial Meeting of the Group of Eight Arab-Islamic Countries in New York today.
Ishaq Dar called for rejecting any attempts to undermine the historical status of the holy sites.
Expressed serious concern over continued ceasefire violations as well as the loss of lives in Gaza, he stressed the need for full implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan and UN Security Council Resolution 2803.
The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for a sovereign, independent, and contiguous Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
