Zara Tindall surprised the public as she emerged with a personal message as she opts out of a key event.
The daughter of Princess Anne is not a working royal and makes only a handful appearances relating to the charities she supports. Despite her non-working royal status, Zara is a beloved member of the family and has never skipped a moment to support her uncle Charles not her cousin Prince William.
As the Royal Family suffers a slew of setbacks, with the latest blows being delivered by Charles Spencer’s forthcoming book on Princess Diana, Zara showed up to support a big win.
“Happy 50th anniversary to the South of England,” Zara, who is an equestrian by profession, said about the Autumn show. “Thank you so much for so many incredible years and I’m sorry I can’t be there to celebrate with you.”
Zara was recently at the annual Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, where her 12-year-old daughter Mia took the reins for the first time.
The young girl channelled her mother’s confidence during the show in Oxfordshire and Zara looked on like a proud mum.
It seems that Zara is taking a wise step to keep herself away from the current controversy that the royals are facing.
King Charles is currently at a “war of words” with his former brother-in-law. And it seems like just as she has remained quiet on the matter of her cousins, Harry and William, she will keep her head down and continue with work, while waiting for the storm to pass.
