Pakistan has formally decided to participate in the first meeting of the Gaza Board of Peace, diplomatic sources said on Sunday.
According to sources, the meeting will be held on February 19 under the chairmanship of US President Donald Trump. Pakistan will be represented at the meeting either by the Prime Minister or the Deputy Prime Minister.
The inaugural session is expected to focus on the situation in Gaza, measures to promote peace and stability, and deliberations on a future course of action to address the ongoing crisis.
Diplomatic sources said Pakistan’s participation is being viewed as an important part of its broader diplomatic efforts aimed at supporting peace in the region and contributing to solutions for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
