Pakistan Armed Forces are always ready to protect the country’s sovereignty: Field Marshal – SUCH TV



Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Bahawalpur Garrison, witnessed an exercise based on modern technologies and reiterated the resolve to defend national sovereignty.According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, the Chief of Army Staff was briefed on various operational, training and administrative activities at Bahawalpur Garrison, with a special focus on preparations for multi-domain warfare.

On this occasion, the Chief of Defence Forces observed Field Exercise Steadfast Resolve at Khairpur Tamiwali (KPT), which involved the integration of modern technologies such as unmanned aerial systems (drones), modern surveillance equipment, electronic warfare resources and modern command and control systems.

The exercise reflects the focus of the armed forces on technology-based multi-domain operations.

Addressing the soldiers, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir appreciated their high morale, professionalism and operational readiness. He reiterated the resolve that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully capable of dealing with all kinds of threats to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He also stressed the need to maintain a high level of readiness at all times to deal with future battlefield and security challenges. The Chief of Defence Forces highlighted that Pakistan’s armed forces are undergoing a major transformation in various fields, the nature of warfare has changed significantly, where technological advancements are driving this evolution and as a result, a mindset change has become inevitable at all levels.

He said that in the future, technology-based tactics will replace physical tactics and fundamentally change the methodology of offensive and defensive operations, which is why Pakistan’s armed forces are rapidly adopting modern technology.

Innovation, indigenization and compatibility will be the main pillars in this process.

Earlier, the Chief of Army Staff inaugurated the Rohi e-Skills Learning Hub (STP), which aims to promote digital skills and learning opportunities for students, especially in South Punjab and across the country.

He also inaugurated the Army Public School (APS) Abbasia Campus, which is a symbol of Pakistan Army’s commitment to quality education and character building.

Later, the Chief of Defence Force visited the EME Regional Workshop, where he was briefed on the maintenance and sustainment system of modern platforms, which is being implemented through modern technology, local preparedness and other war-supporting measures.

Earlier, on his arrival at Bahawalpur Garrison, the Chief of Defence Force was received by Commander Bahawalpur Corps, he laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offered Fateha, and paid tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs.
