Two Khawarij were sent to hell, and two became critically injured during an operation of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Dera Ismail Khan. District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada said that after receiving a credible report about the presence of terrorists, the CTD personnel conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Kalachi area.
During heavy exchange of fire, two Khawarij were gunned down, two became seriously injured, who escaped from the scene, and one cop was also injured.
CTD sources claim that the dead terrorists were involved in an attack on Dukhti Check Post and target killing cases.
Police also recovered a huge quantity of weapons, arms and ammunition, hand grenades and 1 pistol from their custody.
Later, the police cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation to apprehend the injured terrorists.
