Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has extended heartfelt felicitations to the leadership, workers and supporters of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) on the occasion of its 58th Foundation Day, paying tribute to the Party’s historic role in defending democracy and advancing the rights of the people.
In a statement on Saturday, the Chairman Senate stated that the PPP, founded under the visionary leadership of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and strengthened by the enduring struggle and sacrifices of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, has always stood firm as a symbol of democratic resilience.
