Police on Monday registered a first information report (FIR) against a woman for allegedly attacking and assaulting a female polio worker in Lahore.
The incident occurred in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat area, and the FIR was filed on the complaint of the polio team’s in-charge, Mohammad Ayaz Ashraf.
According to police, the team had arrived at the home of the accused, identified as Samina Babar, to administer polio drops to her children.
However, she refused to let them vaccinate the children.
