Pakistan and Turkiye reaffirmed on Sunday their resolve to further strengthen the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Türkiye.According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which bilateral relations were discussed.
The spokesperson stated that the meeting also included a detailed exchange of views on the regional situation, including Iran.

The two leaders stressed dialogue, de-escalation and diplomacy for peace and stability, and agreed to maintain close contact and cooperation on regional and global matters.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar welcomed Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdel Ati at the Foreign Office, marking the start of talks on regional peace, stability and mutual cooperation.
The meeting took place amid Pakistan’s continuing efforts to ease tensions in the Middle East. Mr Dar underscored the importance of dialogue and collaboration in addressing regional challenges. Talks with Dr Abdel Ati focused on bilateral relations between Pakistan and Egypt, as well as measures to promote wider regional stability.
Reports said the discussions also touched upon Pakistan’s efforts to host consultations among key Muslim nations aimed at reducing ongoing tensions.
