Flight operations for various domestic and international airlines were heavily disrupted on Tuesday as 101 flights failed to depart for Gulf destinations from Pakistan due to the Middle East conflict.
These flights were scheduled to depart from eight airports of the country, including Allama International Airport (AIIA), Lahore.
These flights were scheduled to land at Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Sharjah, Kuwait, Qatar, Iran, Iraq, Azerbaijan, and Dubai.
Airport sources said that 2,000 flights were cancelled, which were scheduled to take off over the last 18 days.
The war in the Gulf is expanding day by day. Due to the current situation, passengers are advised to obtain information before leaving for the airport.
Hundreds of passengers were returned to their homes from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, and Peshawar.
The flight operations for the United Arab Emirates were once again suspended.
