10 Militants Killed in Zhob Sanitisation Operation, ISPR – SUCH TV

Security forces have killed 10 militants during a sanitisation operation in Zhob, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday. According to the military’s media wing, the militants were involved in multiple sabotage activities in the area.

Follow-Up to Intelligence-Based Operation

The latest action comes after an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted on February 24, 2026, in which eight militants described as Indian-sponsored members of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also referred to as Fitna Al Khwarij, were neutralised.

On February 25, security forces launched a comprehensive area sanitisation operation to track down remaining militants hiding in the district.

During the operation, troops tracked suspects along multiple routes and engaged their positions. Following an intense exchange of fire, 10 militants were killed.

Weapons Recovered, Operations Ongoing

The ISPR said weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the slain militants, who were allegedly linked to what it termed an Indian proxy group.

Sanitisation operations are continuing in the area to eliminate any remaining threats, the statement added.

The action is part of the broader counterterrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” framework, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.

Security forces and law enforcement agencies have reaffirmed their resolve to continue operations at full pace to eradicate what they described as foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
