Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Doha, on a two-day official visit, at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Upon his arrival at King Hamad International Airport, he was received by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of State of Qatar, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar Muhammad Amir, and members of the diplomatic staff.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi are also accompanying the Prime Minister during the visit.
During his stay in Qatar, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will hold a bilateral meeting with the Emir of Qatar to discuss enhancing cooperation in the areas of economic collaboration, energy partnership, and people-to-people exchanges.
The two sides will also explore ways to further strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, energy, infrastructure development, and manpower export.
The visit reflects the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Qatar and underscores their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
