A westerly wind system brought rain to multiple districts of Balochistan late Sunday night, including Quetta, Pishin, Ziarat, Sibi, Dalbandin, Turbat and Nokundi, the Meteorological Department reported.
Quetta and Pishin received six millimetres of rain, Sibi four millimetres, Ziarat two millimetres, and Dalbandin, Turbat, and Nokundi one millimeter each.
More rain is expected today across northern, central, and southern districts, along with snowfall in the mountainous regions of Ziarat, Qila Abdullah, Kan Mehtarzai, and Chaman.
Over the past 24 hours, rain was also recorded in Chaman, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Zhob, Musakhel, Mastung, Kalat, Turbat, Chagai, Gwadar, and Kharan.
Temperatures ranged from minus 2°C in Ziarat to 16°C in Turbat, with Quetta reporting a minimum of 2°C and Kalat minus 1°C.
