Pakistan Navy Chief Visits Malaysia, Holds Talks with Senior Royal Malaysian Navy Officials – SUCH TV



Pakistan and Malaysia have agreed to enhance future-oriented cooperation between their navies, focusing on maritime security, operational collaboration, and capacity building.According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement released in Rawalpindi on Sunday, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf paid an official visit to Malaysia, where he held meetings with the leadership of the Royal Malaysian Navy. 

Upon his arrival at the Royal Malaysian Navy Headquarters, Admiral Naveed Ashraf was presented with a guard of honour.

During the meetings, both sides discussed regional maritime security, operational cooperation, and initiatives aimed at strengthening naval capabilities. 

Admiral Naveed Ashraf highlighted Pakistan Navy’s contributions to regional stability, including its role in Regional Maritime Security Patrols and participation in the Combined Maritime Forces.

As part of the visit, the Naval Chief also toured Malaysia’s National Hydrographic Centre, where discussions were held on training collaboration and data-sharing mechanisms.

Both navies agreed to pursue enhanced, future-focused cooperation to address evolving maritime challenges.

ISPR stated that the visit would further strengthen bilateral naval relations, with both sides exchanging views on joint strategies to effectively counter maritime security threats in the region.
