Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation on Friday with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which they discussed bilateral relations and regional developments.
During the call, the Turkish foreign minister conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the people of Türkiye over the loss of precious lives in the recent bomb blast in Islamabad.
Ishaq Dar expressed gratitude to the Turkish leadership for their solidarity and support. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm resolve to combat terrorism and ensure the safety and security of its citizens.
The two leaders also exchanged views on strengthening bilateral ties, matters of mutual interest, and key regional and international issues, reaffirming their commitment to continued cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye.
