Progress has accelerated on ration card, Nighaban Dastarkhwan and convenience market arrangements.
The Punjab government has ordered to expedite the provision of Nighaban cards for Ramadan. In this regard, the Chief Minister’s Office has also sought details on the establishment of campsites in the province.
The Deputy Commissioners of all districts have been ordered to provide details of the sites as soon as possible.
The campsites for the provision of Nighaban cards will be shared with the Bank of Punjab. After the locations are finalized, the district administration will provide Nighaban cards to the people.
Instructions have also been issued to complete the schedule for the delivery and collection of cards on time, PSER staff will also be involved in the camp operation.
The goal has been given to activate the helpline and call center for Nighaban cards by February 15.
