A new system of rain and snowfall has entered the country. The Meteorological Department has forecast rain and snowfall in different parts of the country.
Rain fell in Quetta, Chaman, Qila Abdullah and Pishin, snowfall has also started in the upper areas including Kozhak Top, Sheila Bagh and Loi Band.
Rain has been forecast in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from today to February 3, snowfall is expected in Murree and Galiyat.
Rain and snowfall are also likely in Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, Swat and Kalam, the weather will remain cold and partly cloudy in Islamabad and its surroundings.
Light rain and snowfall are expected in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Chagai and Gwadar and light snowfall in the upper areas. Light rain and snowfall is also expected at some places in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rain is expected to begin in Abbottabad and surrounding areas from today. In view of the cold and possible snowfall, instructions have been issued to tourists and locals to take precautionary measures.
