Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja visited Factory Checkpoint near Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, where he met party leader Aleema Khan and addressed the media.
Speaking to reporters, Raja said that no decision has yet been made regarding any march towards the capital, Islamabad, on February 8.
He referred to statements by Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, saying, “What he has said is in front of you all.”
Salman Akram Raja praised the warm welcome he received from the people of Sindh and Karachi, describing it as a reflection of their determination and frustration with the current system. He highlighted PTI’s electoral success in Karachi, stating, “We have won 21 out of 22 seats in Karachi city.”
He added that on February 8, the people of Pakistan will stand united, echoing the public mobilization witnessed on February 8, 2024.
The visit underscores PTI’s efforts to consolidate its support base ahead of upcoming political activities.
