Gold prices continued their downward trend on Wednesday, as both international and domestic markets recorded fresh declines, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
Driven by a dip in global rates, the price of gold in Pakistan fell by Rs1,200 per tola, bringing it down to Rs440,662.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams dropped by Rs1,029 to reach Rs377,796.
In the international market, gold slipped by $12 per ounce and was trading at $4,207.
A day earlier, domestic gold prices had also dropped by Rs1,900 per tola, marking a continued downward trend.
