Kim Kardashian felt “uncomfortable” and lost her confidence after failing the California bar exam.
The 45-year-old reality TV star has been working towards becoming a lawyer but it was recently revealed she failed her final test and will now have to retake it if she wants to qualify.
She confessed she “didn’t feel good” after getting the result and told Time magazine: “I took a minute to process that, and instantly, when I got my results, I didn’t feel good about it.”
“I was really uncomfortable and not confident for a while. You get the results on a Friday, and I knew Sunday morning they were going to be live on the internet,” she added.
Kim also noted, “So, I wanted to mention it first and let people know that it didn’t go my way. So, instantly I was like, OK, let’s do this, I know what I’ve got to do.”
She also went on to add she felt low about failing, but she’s determined to get back to work and pass the exam next time.
“This really sucks because I put so much time into it, but I know what I can do better,” the reality TV star stated.
Kim further mentioned, “I’m pretty good at taking a failure and turning it into something and I just don’t have the time to dwell. You can feel sorry for yourself for a second, but I need to take that time and put it into studying more.”
Kim Kardashian studied for “nine hours a day” for three months because she needed to pass the bar exam on her “first try”.
The 45-year-old has been working towards becoming a lawyer but it was recently revealed she failed her final test and will now have to retake it if she wants to qualify.
Speaking in an episode of her show The Kardashians, which was filmed before she received her bar exam result, she explained: “It’s just the craziest, most emotional roller-coaster.”
“I really do need to pass on the first try because I don’t have another few months I can give up. I studied nine hours a day, every day. I am feeling a little bit overwhelmed,” Kim added.
However, when her results came in, she took to her Instagram at that time, she wrote, “Well… I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV.”
“Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up just more studying and even more determination,” Kim Kardashian concluded.
