Melania Trump is launching her own production company, Muse Films.
She announced the venture quietly on November 28 via a 10-second video on her personal X page. The name appears to nod to her Secret Service code name, Muse.
Her debut project is a self-titled documentary, MELANIA, set to premiere exclusively in theaters on January 30, 2026.
Amazon MGM Studios has reportedly paid $40 million for the film, which chronicles the 20 days leading up to the 2025 Presidential Inauguration through the First Lady’s perspective.
“MELANIA offers unprecedented access to the 20 days leading up to the 2025 Presidential Inauguration — through the eyes of the First Lady-elect herself,” Amazon MGM said of the film.
“Step inside Melania Trump’s world as she orchestrates inauguration plans, navigates the complexities of the White House transition, and reenters public life with her family. With exclusive footage capturing critical meetings, private conversations, and never-before-seen environments, MELANIA showcases Mrs. Trump’s return to one of the world’s most powerful roles.”
The documentary will include exclusive footage of inauguration planning, private conversations, and behind-the-scenes moments. The Amazon deal also includes rights to a multi-episode series following the documentary.
MELANIA will be directed by Brett Ratner, marking his first project since past sexual assault allegations and controversies involving high-profile figures. Ratner has denied the allegations.
