Flight operations at Jinnah International Airport faced disruption on Friday as five flights were cancelled and two delayed due to technical and operational issues.
According to the flight schedule, Emirates flight EK-609 from Karachi to Dubai and FlyNas flight XY-638 to Jeddah were both cancelled.
Similarly, Oman Air flight WY-324 to Muscat and AirSial flight PF-143 to Lahore were also suspended. PIA flight PK-306 to Lahore was cancelled as well.
Airport officials cited technical and operational challenges as the cause of the disruptions, which left several passengers stranded at the terminal.
On the other hand, Karachi to Islamabad PIA flight PK-308 was delayed while Karachi to Faisalabad PIA flight PK-340 was also delayed.
