ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced that internet disruptions and slow speeds will be resolved by the end of October.
PTA officials stated that the installation and upgrade of the Web Management System (WMS) will be completed by October 20. The implementation of WMS will also help prevent attacks on the internet system.
The authority mentioned that the upgrade will manage a capacity of 8 to 9 terabytes.
According to PTA officials, the installation of the management system began in 2019.
